Transformed a 3D Poster

In our previous blog post, we introduced you to Javier Tojo, a professional digital sculptor and 3D printer who loves to surf and travel. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at one of his recent projects: a 3D poster for Hot Buttered Elves.
The poster was based on the book “Dragon Boy” by illustrator Fabio Napoleoni. Javier was responsible for transforming the 2D illustrations into 3D models. He worked closely with Dan Garr, the art director for Hot Buttered Elves, to ensure that the models were faithful to the original illustrations. He also collaborated with Joana Abbott, the project manager, to ensure that the project was completed on time and within budget.

“It was a lot of fun to do this professional artwork with the amazing expertise and art direction of Dan Garr and the incredible collaboration and teamwork with Joana Abbott,” said Javier. “I’m really proud of the final product, and I think it’s a great representation of the book.”

If you’re interested in seeing more of Javier’s work, you can follow him on social media or here. He’s always open to new projects, so if you have an idea for a 3D poster, be sure to contact him.
